Choose the type of edge profile

The choice of edging is the detail that will give style to your countertop. The type of edge profile determines the final look of your space, and the edge cut completes the atmosphere. Rounded edges adapt to all styles, while straight or bevelled cuts lend a more elegant and modern style to your interior.

Consider asking our in-store advisors for more information.

Types of edging and finishes

Straight

The straight profile is the simplest of all, with the same thickness as that of the

countertop but with a straight finish.

Bevelled straight

This type of profile lends the countertop continuity while maintaining its resistance to

impacts and scratches.

Rounded

A totally rounded finish creates a feeling of overall continuity in the kitchen while

preserving the same countertop thickness.

Ogee

This traditional edge profile offers a very elegant curved finish.

Semi-rounded

This profile softens the kitchen or bathroom countertop thanks to a curved finish

while preserving the same countertop thickness.

Choose the type of sink

Often overlooked when designing the ideal countertop, the sink is an essential accessory in any kitchen. Although the choice of sink is primarily motivated by its technical aspects and features, its appearance is also important.

You should choose the sink that will fit in with the design of your kitchen perfectly. There is a multitude of sinks in many different styles, types, and materials.

Consider indicating the type of sink that will complement your countertop as well as its measurements.

Choose the kitchen backsplash.

After choosing your countertop and sink, there is one last step to harmonize your space and define the character of your kitchen: choosing the backsplash. What a great idea to protect your walls from splashes!

Much like the countertop, the backsplash is the focal point of your kitchen. Harmonize your backsplash with the style of your countertop and sink to emphasize the design of your kitchen.

When choosing your backsplash, it is important to consider the style, space, budget, and materials. There is a multitude of materials for backsplashes: glass, metal, stone, ceramic, and porcelain. They can feature simple patterns or more complex designs.
