DITRA HEAT membrane

The DITRA-HEAT membrane is available in both mat and 12M roll formats and is designed to secure the system heating cables and serves as a universal substrate for tile coverings. Similar to DITRA, the original uncoupling membrane, DITRA-HEAT provides uncoupling to neutralize the differential movement stresses between the substrate and the tile covering to prevent cracked grout and tile, waterproofing to protect moisture-sensitive substrates, vapor management, and support.

A viable floor warming system must address the magnified fluctuations in temperature that contribute to increased shear stresses between the substrate and the tile covering that can lead to tile cracking. DITRA-HEAT integrates customizable, comfortable electric floor warming with four additional functions that help to prevent cracking and are essential to a long lasting floor installation.
