All in White by Designer Camille Sauvageau

“I absolutely wanted to use the retro mosaic on the floor to bring out our house’s somewhat retro character. Then, since it is a small room, we decided to go with a tone-on-tone white, rather classic kitchen thanks to the shaker cabinets and gold accents—which we love!”

“For our kitchen, we chose timeless tiles that would match our pink cabinets, a more daring choice. The vertically laid Mini Brick mosaic adds a touch of modernity while the hexagonal mosaic on the floor adds a classic touch.”

“I am deeply fascinated by European floors with chevron patterns, and I also have two dogs who spend their days waiting for me in the kitchen! 🙂 In my experience, tiles are more resistant to dog roughhousing or small messes from an anxious dog. So, here’s the grand truth: The tile doesn’t need to be re-sanded and stained every two years!”

“A new, completely open space has been imagined to bring together all the functions of this young family. With the space organized around a clever central island, you move freely between the dining room, the workspace and the dining alcove.

Mid-century-inspired furniture is paired with bistro- and Scandinavian-style decor for a look that reflects the occupants’ personality.”

Brilliant Colours by Melodie Violet Imagine Design Agency

“A desire for a restful cheerfulness. A Mediterranean inspiration with a touch of classicism.

The main challenge was choosing this blue, which is neither too cold nor too saturated. It’s a blue with touches of gray that contrasts with the suspended black metal hanging glass partition that frames the kitchen area. A blue that balances the warmth of the walnut and enhances the natural light.

The accent tile’s pattern brings rhythm and boldness by accentuating the colour.”

“For the renovations of our kitchen that we did practically from A to Z ourselves, we opted for a rectangular subway tile that would go well with the look of our kitchen. We fell in love with this simple, modern and slightly hammered tile.” Jess Megan

“This kitchen is without a doubt one of the most beautiful before/afters that I have done. Here, the goal was really to optimize storage and counter space while adding brightness. To do so, we used noble, monochrome materials. White is definitely highlighted. To add an interesting finishing touch, we went with textures for the backsplash and quartz countertop.” M ton intérieur

The Modern Farmhouse by Concept_m2_design_interieur

“Farmhouse style was definitely in vogue this year! The oversized hood, the timeless blend of white and black, the warmth of wood, the molded door details, the integrated wainscoting, the delicate gold handles, the country-style sink, the black plumbing and hardware, the industrial-style lighting, the herringbone tile floor and the contrasting backsplash are the key elements of this kitchen that give this timeless yet comforting country-style look! So, when do we cook?”

“Although this chalet is located up north in Lac-Supérieur, La Chic volcan tile brought a charming, warming Mediterranean look to this kitchen. It nicely contrasts with the cold Canadian weather.

In designing this kitchen, we always had keeping everything bright and organic in mind. What I loved the most about the La Chic tiles were their texture, which truly elevates the whole look and feel. This tile looks amazing in pictures, but you have to see and touch them to understand the special craft behind them.”
