“My choice was the Artisan tile in pink because I wanted to add a bold but chic touch to my kitchen. The final result is WOW, the texture of the tile is gorgeous and it gives a beautiful dimension to the backsplash” – Dusty Rose

Initially, I had planned to use a matt black octagonal ceramic tile. I wanted a dramatic effect for the room and since I had chosen a wooden countertop, I was sure to get a cozy effect. Finally, when I visited the store, I was really impressed by this tile model. Even though it’s meant for a herringbone installation, the rack also proposed an installation like the one I chose. I was seduced because my countertop is already made with a herringbone pattern. Thus I avoided repeating the pattern. Furthermore, by choosing a black grout, the effect of the pattern is a bit more subtle.Kensington_Abode

Julie-Pier Pellerin’s black and white kitchen

“The Evolution series is a timeless choice that brings texture to a decor. Being more affordable than the chevron models (cut at an angle), we opted for a rectangular tile in a herringbone pattern. This long-standing installation requires a little more work than a straight or offset installation, but it adds originality and personality to the kitchen. When combined with a light grey grout, it creates a soft contrast while energizing the decor. The backsplash is a decorative element not to be ignored. It can easily be modified or added to an existing kitchen to give it a new lease of life.” – Julie Pier Pellerin

I renovated my kitchen in my new condo and I was looking for something that would give texture and life to my simple white cabinet boards. These “grey green” tiles found at La Tuilerie, with their handcrafted look, were just the perfect fit!  With the combination of copper-coloured fittings and hardware, it adds a touch of European-inspired colour and warmth.” – theflat_bysweethomemarilou

This floor tile gives a retro/classical look and defines the kitchen area. On the backsplash, keeping full tiles instead of cutting them gives them another personality and challenges the floor tiles with its elegance and dynamism.Rubik Design
